(Mishnah): Nitai Ish Taku'a brought Chalos from Baitur, and they did not accept from him.

People of Alexandria brought their Chalos from Alexandria, and they did not accept from them.

People of Har Tzevu'im brought their Bikurim before Shavu'os, and they did not accept from them, because it says in the Torah "v'Chag ha'Katzir Bikurei Ma'asecha Asher Tizra ba'Sadeh."

Ben Atitas brought Bikurim from Bavel, and they did not accept from him.

Yosef ha'Kohen brought Bikurim of wine and oil, and they did not accept from him.

Also he brought his sons and household to do Pesach Katan (Pesach Sheni) in Yerushalayim, and they returned him, lest the matter be fixed for an obligation.

You cannot burn it, lest people say 'we saw Tahor Terumah burned';

You cannot return it to its place, lest people say 'we saw Terumah go out from Eretz Yisrael to Chutz la'Aretz!'

How do we do? We leave it until [Erev] Pesach, and burn it.

(R. Shimon ben Gamliel): I saw Shimon ben Kahana drink Terumah wine in Ako (which is partially in Eretz Yisrael). He said that it was brought from Kilikiya (Chutz la'Aretz), and they decreed on him to drink it in a boat.

Question: Will people not err to say that we bring Terumah from Chutz la'Aretz to Eretz Yisrael?!

Answer: We must say that he (was on the boat with the wine and intended to descend to Ako and drink it there, but Chachamim protested, and) he did not descend to Ako.

Question: Where did he drink it - from the [imaginary] thread [stretched from Tavras Amnom to Nachal Mitzrayim] and outside (Chutz la'Aretz), or from the thread and inside (Eretz Yisrael)?
