Torah Temimah citing Ta'anis 4a: If a Chacham gets angry, the Torah heats him - "ha'Lo Cho Devarai ka'Esh" (Yirmeyah 23:29).

Torah Temimah citing Nedarim 22a: All types of Gehinom rule over one who gets angry. "Ra'ah" refers to Gehinom - "Kol Po'al Hashem la'Ma'anehu v'Gam Rasha l'Yom Ra'ah" (Mishlei 16:4).

Rashi: Remove matters that anger Hashem. Metzudas David - if your heart entices to do evil, which anger Hashem, remove it from your heart and do not do it.

Ibn Ezra (7:3): Ru'ach, the source of anger, should not rule over you. One should weaken it as much as possible.

Rashbam: Do not be an angry person.

6.

Rid: Remove every evil heart 1 from your heart, and you will remove every affliction from your flesh, and you will have a complete Simchah in your youth.

7.

Seforno: Do not get angry at serenity of Resha'im in this world.

Erech Apayim 1(36): Via anger, one comes to emissions of semen 2 .

What do we learn from "v'Ha'aver Ra'ah mi'Besarecha"?

1.

Rashi: Rid your flesh of the Yetzer ha'Ra, so you will have a heart of flesh [and not of stone - Yechezkel 11:19].

Ibn Ezra (7:3): Ra'ah is desire. If you eat every food that you desire, this will bring evil on your flesh. If you have relations too much, this will bring illness on your flesh. One should weaken as much as possible the Nefesh (the source of desire).

3.

Rashbam: Do not do evil - "Ki Yetzer Lev ha'Adam Ra mi'Ne'urav" (Bereishis 8:21).

4.

Seforno: Remove the Yetzer ha'Ra, which entices in childhood and adolescence.

5.

Metzudas David: If your flesh desire something evil in the eyes of Hashem, remove it from your flesh and do not enjoy it.

What is "Shacharus"?

Rashi: It is youth, when one's head (hair) is black. Rashbam, Rid - this is a repetition of Yaldus. Ibn Ezra #2 - this is like "Shechorah Ani v'Navah" (Shir ha'Shirim 1:5).

Ibn Ezra #1: This is like "Ki Alah ha'Shachar" (Bereishis 32:26). Youth is compared to daybreak - "Az Yibaka ka'Shachar Orecha" (Yeshayah 58:8).

What do we learn from "Ki ha'Yaldus veha'Shacharus Hevel"?

1.

Torah Temimah citing Shabbos 152a: Things that a person does in his youth (excessive relations) blacken his face (weaken him) in his old age.

2.

Rid: It does not last forever. Therefore, enjoy it in your youth.

3.

Seforno: What is attained via enticement in childhood and adolescence is temporary pleasure. This is Hevel - unimportant.

4.

Metzudas David: What one desires in childhood and adolescence has no benefit - therefore be very careful [to refrain from it].
