What is the meaning of "va'Temer Es Mishpatai"?

1.

Rashi: They switched My laws. Radak - this is like "Ki Himru Es Rucho" (Tehilim 106:33), "Mamrim Heyisem Im Hashem" (Devarim 9:7). There is a Segol under the Tav in Temer; it is Hif'il conjugation.

2.

Malbim: Hashem intended that Yisrael be a light for the nations, both in laws Bein Adam l'Chavero and in Chukim of Avodas Hashem - "b'Soch ha'Goyim Samtiha" (5). They switched, and did worse than the nations! Refer to 5:6:3:3.

2)

What is "l'Rish'ah"?

1.

Radak: This is a noun. We find this Samuch, e.g. "uv'Rish'as ha'Goyim" (Devarim 9:4).

3)

How were Yisrael worse than the other nations?

1.

Rashi #1: It says about Menasheh "va'Yas'em Menasheh La'asos Es ha'Ra Min ha'Goyim Asher Hishmid Hashem Mipnei Bnei Yisrael" (Melachim II, 21:9).

2.

Rashi #2: The nations did not receive Hashem's Torah, Yisrael accepted it and transgressed it.

3.

Malbim: The Goyim had laws of Sechel that their Chachamim established. Even though human etiquette is not enough, they do not always contradict straightness, just they are estranged from these laws. Yisrael have Divine laws, and they despised them. They constantly did opposite of these laws - the total opposite of good. Also in Chukim Bein Adam la'Makom, they did the opposite of Divine laws. The nations did not switch Hashem's word, for they did not know it. Even though their laws are not good, they did not intentionally establish them to be opposite good. (The Goyim who did not have a particular kingdom, their laws were worse than those who had a king - "Melech b'Mishpat Ya'amid Aretz" (Mishlei 29:4). Lands far from Eretz Yisrael were worse, and Yisrael were worse than them.

4)

Why does it say "Ki v'Mishpatai Ma'asu"?

1.

Radak: This shows how Yisrael were worse - the Goyim did not despise their laws.
