- If, after the Shechitah or Melikah of a bird, it was found to be a Tereifah, it is not Metamei as a Neveilah, according to Rebbi Meir. Rebbi Yosi maintains that the Shechitah of a bird of Chulin purifies it from Tum'as Neveilah, but not the Melikah of Hekdesh.
