We recommend using the textual changes suggested by the Bach and the marginal notes of the Vilna Shas. This section is devoted to any other important corrections that Acharonim have pointed out in the Gemara, Rashi and Tosfos.

[1] Rashi 89a DH b'Adam b'Sechar [towards the top of the page] : ד"ה באדם בשכר

This should be DH b'Adam ד"ה באדם. (The word "b'Sechar" is from Rashi's explanation.)

[2] Gemara 89b [line 43]:

The words "u'Machavei Lehu Yitzchak, Ha'Kadosh Baruch Hu b'Einaihu" ומחוי להו יצחק הקדוש ברוך הוא בעינייהו

should be "u'Machavei Lehu Yitzchak, Ha'Kadosh Baruch Hu b'Einei" ומחוי להו יצחק הקדוש ברוך בעיניה (Dikdukei Sofrim #90)

(Bamidbar 17:12) - Moshe told Aharon to use incense to stop the plague that broke out after the rebellion of Korach. Our Gemara concludes that Moshe would not have known of this antidote had the Angel of Death not told him about it.
