Explanation #1 (R. Zecharyah, the son-in-law of R. Levi): (He holds that a Besulah must have more than this.) He cursed her (through a euphemism), like people call a blind person 'Sagi Nahora' (one who sees well).

Explanation #2 (Talmidim): [He holds that she is a Besulah, but] he disparaged her. [He meant, euphemistically, there should not be many like you in Yisrael, for] any woman with little blood will have few children.

Explanation #3 (R. Yosi): He praised her. Any woman with little blood is not prone to be Metamei Taharos.
