The Gemara does not go back to the answer of "Chatzi Eved Chatzi Ben Chorin," because it is trying to find an answer that Ravina would agree with, and with which the Man d'Amar Tashlumin l'Rishon would agree with. The only answer is a Suma b'Achas me'Einav.
