25A What does RAV HUNA and RAV CHiSDA do with each others pesukim regarding "Kol Haneshama or PEH only
Zev Farkas, Canada
1) It may be that Rav Chisda uses the verse "Kol Haneshamah Tehalel.." to learn what the Gemara states below 43b "How do we know that one makes a blessing on a good scent? As is said 'Kol Haneshamah Tehalel...".
2) In turn, it is possible that Rav Huna learns from the other verse, the din cited below 28b that Rabbi Tanchum said in the name of Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi that the 18 berachos of the Shemoneh Esreh correspond to the 18 vertebrae in the spine, and that one should bow until all the vertebraes protude.
The Midrash Tanchuma at the beginning of Parshas Vayera learns this from the verse "All my bones shall say...".
