What is "v'Chok ha'Shemen"?

1.

Rashi: It is for Ma'aser.

2.

Radak: The Terumah of oil for the Minchah ? it will be mixed with oil, like the Torah says.

3.

Malbim: [The Nasi] will take one part in 100 of oil ? Bas ha'Bas. The big Bas is a 10th of the Kor (just like an orphan daughter who marries receives a 10th of the estate); it 'gives birth' to the small daughter, a 10th of the big Bas and a 100th of the mother (Kor).

2)

Why does it say "ha'Bas Shemen"?

1.

Rashi: Bas is a measure of oil. Radak ? this is like Eifah, which is a measure of wheat and barley. The latter is a dry measure, and the former, a liquid measure.

3)

What is the meaning of "Masar ha'Bas Min ha'Kor"?

1.

Rashi: Ma'aser of the Bas will be from the Kor. The 10th that the Bas tithes, it will be for the Kor. The word "Masar" refers to itself (the Bas) and others (the Kor), just like 'Avodah' can refer to itself (the one who is served - "Avodas ha'Kodesh" (Bamidbar 7:9)) or others (the one who serves -"Avodas Bnei Merari" (ibid. 4:33)).

2.

Radak: Kor is a Chomer. One who has a Kor of oil will give from it a 10th of a Bas for the Minchah, just like he gave a sixth of an Eifah of flour. The Terumah of oil will be one part in 100.

4)

What do we learn from "Aseres ha'Batim [Chomer]"?

1.

Rashi: This is a Chomer ? then, you can take a Bas for Ma'aser.

2.

Malbim: A Chomer is 10 big Batim.

5)

Why does it repeat "Ki Aseres ha'Batim Chomer"?

1.

Rashi: Because the Chomer will be for you 10 Batim. Also Yonason translates like this.

2.

Radak: Just like nowadays a Chomer is 10 Batim, so it will be in the future.
