Version #1 (Rashi): This is in the name of a village.

Version #2: In the Tosefta it is written "the Parah (cow) of Beis Menachem", like the case of the cow of Beis Menachem whose womb was removed (Sanhedrin 33a).

Explanation #1 (Rashi): The hip was dislocated, and in a case that its sinews did not corrode, for if its sinews corroded it is Tereifah, like it says in Chulin (54b) that if the hip bone was dislocated, it is Tereifah. This is only if its sinews corroded.

Question: There is an opinion there that says that it is Tereifah even if they did not corrode and they were not cut!

Explanation #2: Rather, we can explain that it was dislocated from its initial creation, and similarly "Nishtarvevah" below. (It is Tereifah only if it became dislocated after birth.)

Explanation #1 (second Perush of Rashi): It is inflated.

Explanation #2: It seems that his first Perush is correct. He explained that Balum is narrow;
