8)[line 1]הגדילו באיסורHIGDILU B'ISUR- Chizkiyah rules that if water, permitted wine, and Yayin Nesech are mixed together, and there is enough water such that the taste of the Yayin Nesech cannot be discerned in the water, the status of the mixture depends on the order in which the liquids became mixed. If the water and permitted wine were mixed first, and then Yayin Nesech fell into the mixture ("Higdilu b'Isur"), the mixture is prohibited (since the permitted wine becomes prohibited by the Yayin Nesech, and the taste of the combined wines can be discerned in the water). However, if the Yayin Nesech and water were mixed first, and then the permitted wine was added ("Higdilu b'Heter"), the mixture is permitted (see Insights).

15)[line 10]לא שנו אלא שקדם וסילק את האיסורLO SHANU ELA SHE'KADAM V'SILEK ES HA'ISUR- it (Rebbi Eliezer's view that the mixture follows the Halachic status of the last ingredient added) was taught only when he removed the forbidden ingredient before [the permitted ingredient fell in] (but if he did not remove the forbidden ingredient, then the permitted ingredient joins with the forbidden one to make an amount that causes the dough to rise, and thus the combination prohibits the dough.)
16)[line 12]חזקיה, דאמר כמאן?CHIZKIYAH, D'AMAR K'MAN?- Chizkiyah says like whom? (He cannot be following the view of Rebbi Eliezer nor the view of the Rabanan.)
17)[line 13]ברואיןRO'IN- the law whereby we "view" ("Ro'in") the same type of item (as the prohibited item) as if it were not present, thus allowing the other permitted item in the mixture to nullify the [smaller amount] of the prohibited item
