WHY MAN WAS CREATED LAST (Yerushalmi Halachah 9 Daf 23b)

(a)

Man was created on Erev Shabbos, so he would enter first to a Mitzvah (Kedushas Shabbos. Ramah - Hash-m would have given [all of] Torah to Adam, had he not sinned.)

1.

Alternatively, why was he created last? A parable is a king who made a Seudah. After he prepares the Seudah, he invites the guests. So, "Chachmos Bansah Veisah" - this is ha'Kadosh Baruch Hu, who built the world with Chachmah, for it says "Hash-m b'Chachmah Yasad Aretz..."

2.

"Chatzvah Amudeha Shiv'ah" - these are the seven days of Bereishis. "Tavchah Tivchah Maskah Yeinah" - these are seas and rivers and all needs of the world. "Mi Pesi Yasur Henah" is Adam and Chavah (they had all their needs, and ate from the one matter forbidden to them).

(b)

(Mishnah): Perhaps you will say 'why do we need this affliction...'

(c)

"Va'Ya'avor ha'Rinah ba'Machaneh" (the announcement of Achav's death) - why does it say ha'Rinah? [We read this like] Chareini (like Charah Ani, I (Hash-m) am in pain).

(d)

Support: It says "b'Tzeis Lifnei ha'Chalutz [v'Omrim Hodu la'Shem Ki l'Olam Chasdo", and it does not say "Ki Tov"] to teach that even downfall of the wicked is not Simchah in front of Hash-m.
