*********************GIRSA SECTION*********************
We recommend using the textual changes suggested by the Bach and the marginal notes of the Vilna Shas. This section is devoted to any other important corrections that Acharonim have pointed out in the Gemara, Rashi and Tosfos.
[1] Gemara 104a [line 34]:
The words "v'Chosem b'Seder Bereishis" וחותם בסדר בראשית
should be "v'Chosem b'Soder Bereishis" וחותם בסודר בראשית
This is the Girsa of the early printings and Rashbam. (Hagahos Dikdukei Sofrim #90)
[2] Gemara 104a [line 48]:
The words "Tana mi'Shmei d'Rebbi Yehoshua ben Chananya" תנא משמיה דרבי יהושע בן חנניא
should be "Tana mi'Shemei d'Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi" תנא משמיה דרבי יהושוע בן לוי
This is the Girsa in the manuscripts, and is plausible since Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi appears elsewhere in the Mishnah (Avos 6:2 and Uktzin 3:13). (Dikdukei Sofrim #2)
