(Mishnah): If one said 'Konam these Peros Alai', or 'they are Konam to my mouth', he is forbidden [even] Chilufeihem and Giduleihem (what is traded for them and grows from them);

[If he said] 'that I will not eat' or 'that I will not taste", he is permitted Chilufeihem and Giduleihem if it is a matter in which the seed perishes;

However, in a matter in which the seed does not perish, he is forbidden [even] Gidulei Gidulim.

(Gemara) Question: [For a matter in which the seed persists,] until how long [are Gidulim forbidden]?

Answer: This is like R. Yakov bar Idi said in the name of R. Yochanan [about Tevel] - until three harvests (i.e. Gidulei Gidulei Gidulim) are forbidden, and the fourth is permitted, and the same applies here.

(Mishnah): If one told his wife 'Konam is what you produce Alai', or 'it is Konam to my mouth', he is forbidden [also] Chilufeihem and Giduleihem;

'That I will not eat' or 'that I will not taste', he is permitted Chilufeihem and Giduleihem, if it is a species in which the seed perishes;

However, in a matter in which the seed does not perish, he is forbidden [even] Gidulei Gidulim.

'What you make and I eat until Pesach', 'what you make and I wear until Pesach', what she makes before Pesach, he is permitted to eat and wear it after Pesach.

(Gemara): Our Mishnah should say 'what you make, I will not eat it until Pesach. What you make, I will not wear it until Pesach.'
