Implied question: What is the Chidush of the Beraisa?

Answer #1: Even though he did not return and say "I am a Nazir", rather, he said only "the Nezirus should take effect on me", he is a Nazir and he is lashed, like Rashi explained there. (Birkas Rosh - obviously, "Nezirus should take effect on me" is a proper acceptance. Here, he said "the Nezirus should take effect on me." The Chidush is that his initial acceptance is called Nezirus, even though it does not take effect until he accepts again.)

Explanation: [There is no difference between a Nazir Tamei, i.e.] he vowed when he was Tamei, to a Nazir Tahor who became Tamei, except that a Nazir Tamei, his seventh day counts towards his count;
ëùäæä â' åùðä áæ' åèáì éåí æ' òåìä (äâäú îäø"á øðùáåøâ) ìîðéï ðæéøåú èäøä

This is because he need not bring a Korban on day eight for his Tum'ah. Immediately after he received Haza'ah twice, and immersed, it is proper for Nezirus to take effect on him immediately.

Explanation: [Days of Tum'ah do not count] when he became Tamei Mes. If he counted several days in Taharah, and became Tamei, he cancels even the initial count, like it says "veha'Yamim ha'Rishonim Yiplu";

Citation of Gemara: Days of Muchlat.
ùéåùá îçåõ ìîçðä åäçìéèå åîðä î÷öú ðæéøåú ù÷áì òìéå ÷åãí ùðöèøò
Explanation: These are when he dwells outside the Machaneh, and became Muchlat (there was a Siman Tum'ah in his Tzara'as). He counted part of the Nezirus that he accepted on himself before he became a Metzora;
åùåá ðøôà åâéìç ìöøòúå îðéï ùéçæåø ìîðåú ìäùìéí ðæéøåú ìîðéï ùîðä ÷åãí öøòú åéîéí ùáéîé çìåèå ìà éòìå ìå îï äîðéï ðæéøåú
Later, he healed, shaved from his Tzara'as. [We ask] what is the source that he returns to count to complete the Nezirus, [adding to] the number he counted before Tzara'as, and the days of Muchlat do not count for him towards his count of Nezirus?

However, days of Hesger surely count for him, since he need not shave like a Muchlat must. We do not compare him to days of Tum'ah, like a Muchlat.

Comment: [Yemei Chaluto] are the same as days of his Tum'ah (of Mes), which do not count for Nezirus. Likewise, his days of Muchlat do not count.

Answer: There is an exclusion below (44a), he is Soser due to Tum'ah (if he became Tamei), but he is not Soser due to shaving. Also, here, we can exclude and say "he is not Soser due to being Muchlat"!

Explanation: [One who accepted Nezirus in a cemetery, his hair is proper to be shaven,] and he resembles a Nazir. [Even so, these days] do not count towards his count;

Yemei Chaluto, in which his hair is not proper to be shaven, and in this way he does not resemble a Nazir, all the more so [these days] do not count towards his count!

Explanation: [Rather, the Beraisa discusses Tiglachas Taharah. The Kal va'Chomer] means as follows. A Nazir in a cemetery, his hair is proper to be shaven. The hair on him is destined to be shaven when he finishes Nezirus Taharah, for he does not shave on day seven. [Even so, these days] do not count;

In Yemei Chaluto, his hair is not proper to be shaven for Nezirus Taharah, for he needs to shave when he is healed from his Tzara'as. All the more so, [these days] do not count for him!
