What are "Chashmanim"?

1.

Rashi: They are gifts. When You will destroy Amalek (some texts - Esav), and Melech ha'Mashi'ach will reign, they will bring to You gifts from Egypt and Kush 1 .

2.

Rashi citing Menachem: It is the name of a country; residents of Chashmonah 2 [will come].

3.

Radak: They are the leaders and Seganim (seconds in command), just like Matisyahu ben Yochanan Kohen Gadol Chashmonai. Also his sons were called Chashmona'im. When Sancheriv came to Yerushalayim after fighting Egypt and Kush, with all the captives, that night Hashem's angel struck Machaneh Ashur. Yisrael took all the spoils - "Nasati Chafrecha Egypt Kush u'Sva Tachtecha" (Yeshayah 43:3). Those who were spared from the plague accepted Yisrael's creed - "Ach Bach Kel v'Ein Od Efes Elokim" (ibid., 45:14). About them it says "Yihyu Chamesh Arim b'Eretz Egypt Medabros Sefas Kena'an v'Nishba'os la'Shem Tzevakos (ibid., 19:18). So it says here - they will bring a gift to the Beis ha'Mikdash.

4.

Malbim: They are great people. They and officers will come from Egypt.

1

Pesachim 118b: Egypt will bring gifts to Mashi'ach; Hashem will tell him to accept, for Yisrael stayed in Egypt. Kush will make a Kal va'Chomer - Egypt enslaved Yisrael, yet Mashi'ach accepts from them - we did not enslave Yisrael, all the more so he will accept from us! Hashem will tell him to accept.
