Will His hand be El (to) the Nevi'im?

1.

Radak: This is like Al (against them).

2)

What is the meaning of "b'Sod Ami Lo Yihyu uvi'Chsav Beis Yisrael Lo Yikasevu"?

1.

Radak citing Targum Yonasan: In the good secret hidden for My nation they will not be, and in the inscription for eternal life for Tzadikim of Beis Yisrael, they will not be written.

2.

Malbim: These are two of three punishments ? they will not have a share in Yisrael's Torah and Kedushah. This is why they are called Am Hashem. (b) They have no share in the world to come. The Nevi'im call this Kesivah ? "Kol ha'Chasuv l'Chayim 1 bi'Yrushalayim" (Yeshayah 4:3), "va'Yikasev Sefer Zikaron Lefanav l'Yir'ei Hashem; ? la'Yom Asher Ani Oseh Segulah" (Mal'achi 3:16-17). Also refer to 13:9:3:2. The three correspond to the three gifts that Hashem gave to Yisrael ? Torah, Eretz Yisrael and the world to come. Eretz Yisrael comes to fix physical life and civil life; the world to come is for life of the Nefesh, and Torah is the lamp that illuminates both of the perfections, and ties them together.

Malbim cites a similar verse from Daniel. There is a printing mistake; it should say "Kol ha'Nimtza Kasuv ba'Sefer" (Daniel 12:1). (PF)

3)

What do we learn from "v'El Admas Kodesh Lo Yavo'u"?

1.

Radak: They will not return when [others] return from Galus Bavel.

2.

Malbim: This is the third punishment ? They will not have a share in the land.
