Radak: Blacksmiths work with [a fire from] coal.

Targum Yonasan: He blows fire on the black [coal]. Radak - he explains that the prefix 'Beis' applies to Pecham.

What is the meaning of "u'Motzi Chli l'Ma'asehu"?

Rashi: He completes the Kli to fulfill its purpose.

Radak: He makes whatever Kli he wants - an arrow, sword, spear or lance.

Malbim: Also all the means to make the sword, I created - he blows on the fire of coal. This that fire flames up when he blows, and melts the iron, this is Hashem's act. I also form the Kli.

What is the significance of creating the smith and the destroyer?

Rashi: I incited the enemy against you, and I prepared punishments for him.

Radak: Even though people make weapons, and Gog and Magog and [other] Nochrim will come with many weapons, I made them! Since I made the maker, and I can wound the maker, all the more so [I can destroy the weapons], his product! I made the destroyer of them and their weapons - "v'Hikisi Kashtecha mi'Yad Smolecha v'Chitzecha mi'Yad Yemincha Apil" (Yechezkel 39:3).

Malbim: Also the substance from which he makes the sword - iron, which destroys, I created. Also the purpose I created - to wound. The substance, the worker, the means, the form and purpose are all My acts - if I do not want to destroy, surely it will not destroy!
