Megilah, 16a #2: When, after learning about Haman's downfall, Mordechai kicked him, and Haman queried him from the Pasuk in Mishlei, 24:17 "bi'Nefol Oyicha Al Tismach", he informed him that that was confined to a fellow-Yisrael, but about people like him (Haman) the Torah writes "ve'Atah al Bamoseimo Sidroch." 3

Oznayim la'Torah: It teaches us that Yisrael wiill defeat their enemies even in the high locations where the enemy are waging gorrila warfare - and as is well-known, it is extremely difficult to fight a war with an enemy that is located in higher ground than oneself - bearing in mind that Hashem will send the hornet to destroy the enemy. 4
