Why did she say "Gam Es ha'Yoresh"?

1.

Radak: [He will die] in addition to the other heir.

2)

Why did she say "l'Vilti Sim l'Ishi Shem u'She'eris"?

1.

Radak: They intend that my husband will not leave someone to continue his name, and to kill the heir so they will inherit my husband's property.

2.

Malbim: My husband's name will be wiped out, and his property will go to strangers 1 .

1

Why does he say 'strangers'? If her other son will die, her husband's family are the closest relatives and the rightful heirs! Perhaps he means that since her son should live and inherit; it is as if strangers inherit. (PF)

3)

Why did she say "they will extinguish my inheritance"?

1.

Radak: It is what illuminates for me after the death of my husband (Malbim - two husbands) and one son.

4)

Her family is entitled to kill the murderer in their anger. They are Go'alei ha'Dam!

1.

Radak: "Ki Yecham Levavo" (Devarim 19:6) does not apply here. They intend only for inheritance! Malbim - they do not merely intend for this. They explicitly say 'give to us your husband's and sons' property, and we will inherit it!'

2.

Malbim: Even if Go'el ha'Dam may kill a murderer who is not Chayav Misah bi'Ydei Adam, he cannot force the murderer's mother to tell where he hides! Only if he catches him and strikes him, he is exempt. He cannot force others to reveal where he is!
