'Rashi': I am stronger than my father. Radak (Melachim I, 12:10) ? therefore, why should I be lenient on you? "Avah" is a verb in past tense, like Asah. Alternatively, it is an adjective for the small finger. "Etzba" (finger) is masculine (Katani) and feminine (Avah).
