(Mishnah): Anyone can force (his household) to move to Eretz Yisrael. Anyone cannot force them to leave Eretz Yisrael. Anyone can force (his household) to move to Yerushalayim. Anyone cannot force them to leave Yerushalayim. This applies to men and women equally.

How is this? If he married a woman in Eretz Yisrael and divorced her in Eretz Yisrael, he gives to her (pays the Kesuvah from) coins of Eretz Yisrael. If he married her in Eretz Yisrael and divorced her in Kapudkiya, he gives to her coins of Eretz Yisrael;

If he married her in Kapudkiya, and divorced her in Eretz Yisrael, he gives to her coins of Eretz Yisrael;

R. Shimon ben Gamliel says, he pays coins of Kapudkiya;

If he married her in Kapudkiya, and divorced her in Kapudkiya, he gives to her coins of Kapudkiya.

(Gemara - Beraisa): If he wants to ascend to Eretz Yisrael, and she does not want, we force her to ascend. If she wants [to ascend] and he does not want, we do not force him to ascend.

If he wants to ascend to Yerushalayim, and she does not want, we force her to ascend. If she wants [to ascend] and he does not want, we do not force him to ascend.

If he wants to leave Eretz Yisrael, and she does not want, we do not force her. If she wants to leave and he does not want, we force her not to leave.

(Mishnah): He gives to her coins of Eretz Yisrael.

Inference: Coins of Eretz Yisrael are better than those of all other lands.

This supports the opinion that Kesuvas Ishah is mid'Oraisa [therefore he must give better coins], and unlike R. Shimon ben Gamliel;

(Beraisa): Kesuvas Ishah is mid'Oraisa. R. Shimon ben Gamliel says, Kesuvas Ishah is only mid'Rabanan.
