FOOTNOTES:
==========
1. [Brackets] denote a Halachah that is not mentioned explicitly by Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi or Rebbi Yochanan
2. 'Machlokes' denotes that Rebbi Yosi and Rebbi Yehudah argue about this in the Beraisa (56b)
(1) This is the way Rav Avahu interprets Rav Dimi's quote of RYB"L, as it appears in the texts of our Gemara and Rashi: according to Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi, Rebbi Yosi and Rebbi Yehudah argue concerning "Techilas Chupah (and Sof Bi'ah)." However, it would seem more appropriate to say that Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi says that they argue about "Techilas Bi'ah (and Sof Bi'ah)" -- and that it goes without saying that they argue about Techilas Chupah. This would in fact parallel the way Rav Avahu interprets Ravin's version of Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi: Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi does not mention "Sof Bi'ah" at all, but mentions Techilas Chupah to Sof Chupah -- and it goes without saying that they argue about Sof Bi'ah.
The RITVA (as quoted by the SHITAH MEKUBETZES), who points this out, in fact cites Rashi as saying just that: Rav Avahu interprets Rav Dimi's RYB"L as saying that Rebbi Yehudah and Rebbi Yosi argue concerning "Techilas Bi'ah (and Sof Bi'ah)." (The text of the Gemara in the Munich and Leningrad manuscripts combines both versions: "they argue concerning Techilas Chupah- Bi'ah." See SHITAH MEKUBETZES on the Sugya at length.)
