- Only men are obligated to do Semichah with their Korban, and not women, according to the Tana Kama. Rebbi Yosi and Rebbi Shimon maintain that women may opt to do Semichah with their Korban.
Read More - According to Rebbi Meir, one is obligated to cover the blood of the Shechitah of a bird or Chayah that is a Tereifah, or of an animal of Avodah Zarah or Chulin inside the Azarah, or of Kodshim outside the Azarah, or of an animal that is Chayav Sekilah. The Chachamim disagree.
Read More - Even according to Rebbi Meir, who maintains that a Shechitah which does not permit the meat of the animal to be eaten is considered a valid Shechitah, the Shechitah of the mother does not permit a live fetus that is found in the animal (a Ben Peku'ah) to be eaten without its own Shechitah.
Read More - Rebbi Shimon maintains that Chulin slaughtered in the Azarah must be burned, and even a Chayah slaughtered in the Azarah must be burned.
