DAF DISCUSSIONS - YEVAMOS 90

Meir Eliezer Bergman asked:

The Gemoro uses an example of Kivsei Atzeres, which Rashi suggests means that Shovuos was on Shabbos and the Kivsei Atzeres were shechted sh'lo lishmon, that zerikah and achila should not take place.

Wouldn't the same apply to other Korbonos applicable on Shabbos, e.g. Korban Tomid, Olos of Musaf, that zerikah should not take place? I am guessing that this is the only case where achila would be applicable (presumable the rule does not apply by Chato's of Musaf or Korban Pesach)

The Kollel replies:

You are correct. Kivsei Atzeres is mentioned since the Beraisa discusses it explicitly. (The Beraisa has other reasons for discussing Kivsei Atzeres.)

Be well,
