Abaye on omed B challanges Rabah by asserting that a minimum size sukkah is posul with 3 tefochim of air space or 3 tefochim of posul schuch. Does Rashi's comment on this teach us that lavud can apply to a section of posul schuch which is less than 3 tefochim in the same way it applies to air space?

Rashi says that a Sukah which lacks less than 3 Tefachim (because of Posul Scach or air) is not lacking in Shiur Schach, as Lavud shows us that under 3 is not significant. Only 3 and more can deduct from the Shiur Schach. Does this answer your question?
