Reuven Konnik asked:
THE MISHNA FIRST MENTIONS THE BEHEMA AND THEN STARTS OFF AGAIN WITH A CHICKEN. WHY DOES THE MISHNA NEED TO MENTION THE TARNEGOLES?
Reuven Konnik, Berlin, Germany
The Kollel replies:
Dear Reuven,
The Nimukei Yosef answers: The Mishnah with the case of Tarnegoles shows that a person is responsible for his birds as well as his animals (see similarly Bava Kama 54b) and they are considered Mu'ad for Regel and also for Shein.
All the best,
Reuven Weiner
