Why does the Torah insert the (otherwise superfluous) words "Ki Yih'yeh le'Ish"?

Sanhedrin, 107a): The Torah juxtaposes "Ki Yih'yeh le'Ish" to Y'fas To'ar' to teach us that taking a Y'fas Tohar leads to a Ben Sorer u'Moreh. 1

Bava Basra, 126b: "Ki Yih'yeh le'Ish Ben Sorer u'Moreh" implies that he must be known to be a male from birth 2 - to preclude a Tumtum, who tore open after birth and was discovered to be a male.

Oznayim la'Torah: Even though the Ben Sorer u'Moreh sins against his mother too, as the Pasuk specifically states, the Torah attributes the rebellion to the father, since he is the one who is obligated to educate his son.
