Who are 'his brothers" mentioned here?

Rashi: They are Yakov's friends 1 who came with Lavan. (Refer to 31:46:1:2.)

Seforno, Malbim: They are Lavan's "brothers" (relatives) who came with Lavan. 2

Ha'Emek Davar: They are people that Yakov converted; they were below the mountain, and Yakov. They spent the night in the mountain with Yakov to protect him, for they saw Lavan's angry face; he was suspected of murder.

Sifsei Chachamim explains why above (Pasuk 46), Rashi said that "Echav" is Yakov's sons.

It was not necessary to invite Lavan, who was like a father of Yakov's sons (Seforno), or because he was with Yakov, and it is as if he was the host, and Yakov was his Shali'ach to invite everyone (Malbim).
