What is "ba'Boker"?
Rashi: It is at the time of the redemption.
Radak: It is [Shabbos] morning. During the week, when one rises in the morning, he goes to work. This morning (Shabbos), he rises for rest and contentment of the body and Neshamah, and remembers Hashem's Chesed.
Malbim: It is morning. Just like then, creations are aroused to do new actions, so Hashem does actions via Hashgachah.
What Chesed should one tell?
Radak #1: Among them is that You gave to us Shabbos for rest.
Radak #2: According to the Midrash that this discusses the days of Mashi'ach, You took us out of Galus even though we deserved to be eradicated due to our many sins.
Radak #3: In the morning we will also mention Your Emunah, that You sustained us in Galus and did not finish us off.
Malbim: Chesed is wonders that oppose nature.
What is "Emunasecha ba'Leilos"?
Rashi: At the time of Galus, to believe in You, that You will fulfill Your promise [Radak - to take us out of Galus]. This is proper and good.
Radak: You will fulfill Your Chesed for us at all times.
Malbim: Emunah is guarding natural laws that Hashem made at the time of the creation. Night is when creations cease their actions - so Hashem leaves conduct to nature, and does not do new actions.
Why does it say "ba'Leilos" (plural)?
Radak #1: This refers to all nights, even during the week. At night, one is not busy with work; he is free to teach 1 that tell Hashem's Chesed and Emunah.
Radak #2: This refers to Shabbos night and Motza'ei Shabbos. Also it is a night of rest, for usually one does not go out to work until the morning.
However, "ba'Boker" is only Shabbos morning, when he is free. (PF)
