Why does it say "Mo'av Sir Rachtzi"?
Refer to 60:9:1:1.
Rashi: I will use Mo'av like a copper basin to wash my feet. Radak - it is not a Sir (pot) for cooking.
Radak: It is my Kli to do with it as I wish.
Radak (9): Even though enemies came to the land, it will not last. With Hashem's will, I will overpower them and trample them. And so occurred - "va'Yach Es Mo'av... va'Tehi Mo'av l'David la'Avadim" (Shmuel II, 8:2).
Malbim: They will be my slaves, to use them like a Kli for bathing. A sign of slavery is taking his master's Kelim to the bathhouse, like Chazal said (Kidushin 22b).
What is the meaning of "Ashlich Na'ali"?
Rashi: I will enclose them.
Radak: I will trample them. And so occurred - "va'Yhi Chol Edom Avadim l'David" (Shmuel II, 8:14). Aram is included in Edom, even though they are not mentioned, for they were together in the war, and Yo'av and Avishai struck both of them, like I explained (refer to Shmuel II, 8:13:3:2). Also about Aram, it says "va'Tehi Aram l'David la'Avadim" (Shmuel II, 8:6).
Malbim: A sign of slavery is removing his master's shoe (Kidushin 22b).
What is the meaning of "Alai Peleshes Hisro'a'i"?
Rashi: Join to my kingship to be subservient to me. Gas and Azah are from Eretz Pelishtim; David conquered them.
Radak #1: This is a threat 1 , like "Semach Bachur b'Yaldusecha" (Koheles 11:9) - see what will happen in your end!
Radak #2: It is said mockingly, since David made them submissive to him - "va'Yach David Es Pelishtim va'Yachni'em" (Shmuel II, 8:1). You will not do like you did before, for you were already submissive under me.
Malbim: Peleshes, join to me! David did not force them to be slaves, just they ceased to fight with him.
Radak did not define "Hisro'a'i". Perhaps he holds that it is an expression of screaming or sounding the Shofar (to make war), or boasting (like R. Yonah, Mishlei 18:24. - PF)
