Why did Mosheh need to repeat what the people said they saw and heard?

-d came to give the Torah, Yisrael made two requests: 1. to see His Kavod and 2. to hear His Voice. 1 . Now that Hashem had fulfilled their requests, they asked Moshe to take over and to act as the intermediary between them and Hashem.
