What did the Nevi'im say?
Rashi: You should steal and extort.
Radak: You will have Shalom. This tilted people to a bad path.
Who are the Kohanim?
Rashi: They are the judges and their enforcers.
What is the meaning of "Yirdu Al Yedeihem"?
Rashi: They ruled over [the nation] after [the Kohanim]. This is like "Overim Al Yado" (Shmuel II, 15:18) regarding David. They did like the Nevi'im.
Radak: They took. This is like "Radah ha'Devash" Shoftim (14:9}. I.e. they take bribes to pervert the verdict. [The judges] take [bribes] via [the Nevi'im], like one who takes honey [from the hive] with his hand - it is good and pleasant.
Radak: Some say that it refers to ruling over, like "Ki Hu Rodeh" (Melachim I, 5:4) and "Lo Sirdeh Bo" (Vayikra 25:33). The Kohanim rule over the Am via the Nevi'im and their commands, and they tilt judgment as they want.
Malbim: The Nevi'im do not rule forcefully to punish sinners via the Kohanim. The Kohanim force only according to the Nevi'im, i.e. to Sheker.
What is the meaning of "v'Ami Ahavu Chen"?
Radak: They desire this, and compliment their evil deeds.
Malbim: There is no hope that they will decide to repent, for they love [the status quo].
What is the meaning of "u'Mah Ta'asu l'Acharisah"?
Radak: If the Shamah v'Sha'arurah is good in your eyes now, what will you do at the end? Know that your end will be bitter!
Malbim: What will you do at the end, when the land will be totally desolate due to your evil deeds?
