What is the meaning of "ha'Yukach mi'Gibor Malko'ach [v'Im Shvi Tzadik Yimalet]"?
Rashi: You think that it is impossible to take from Esav his spoils, i.e. the captivity of Yakov ha'Tzadik.
Radak: The nations say so. How can one take from a Gibor the spoils that he took? Further, it is righteous spoils - he took it properly. How will it evade his hand? There are two reasons why it should not. (a) He is a Gibor. (b) He justifiably took his captives. Similarly - how will Yisrael leave our jurisdiction?!
Malbim: After Yisrael were captured and taken for slaves, how can they be taken from their captors? This is the question - since I am bereaved, and Giborim took my children, how can one take them from the Gibor's captives?
Why does it say "v'Im Shvi Tzadik Yimalet"?
Malbim (25): Shevi is the opposite of Malko'ach. It is according to Mishpat; it cannot be taken via force! The defeated nation is Shevi, since they do not take them for slaves. One could escape, since there is no master over him. Shvi Tzadik was justifiably taken, due to his sin; he cannot escape.
