Why does the Torah use the double Lashon "ve'Im Pasoh Sifseh"?
Sifra: To include in the Din of Pisyon (spreading) even if if it appears less white than the original Nega ? provided it is not less white than the four appearances. 1

What are the implications of "Acharei Hera'oso le'Taharaso"?
Sifra: It implies that Pisyon only applies if it occurs after the Nega has been shown to the Kohen to render it Tahor (after Hesger), but not before. 1

Why does the Torah write "Sheinis", when it is the third time that the Kohen is seeing the Nega?
Da'as Zekenim: It should indeed have said 'Shelishis'.
RS"R Hirsh: It hints to what it says in the Sifra, that only the Kohen who saw it the first time can see it the next time, to determine whether or not it spread. 1
This does not comply with those who maintain that Hesger entails marking around the Nega. Refer to 13:4:151:2 and notes (PF).
