Burying the dead is a Chesed Shel Emes (Rashi Bereishis 47:29) for one who does so is not expecting anything in return from the recipient of the Chesed, who is dead. Of course he will be rewarded for his good deed, though, just as every Chesed is repaid by Hash-m.

Although the person may have some motive for doing the Chesed, he will clearly not receive anything directly from the Niftar, and therefore it is considered a Chesed Shel Emes.
