What is the significance of the fact that the Torah connects the Korban Pesach to Am Yisrael's arrival in Eretz Yisrael?

Rashi #1: It teaches us that the Mitzvah of Korban Pesach did not apply until they entered Eretz Yisrael. 1

Rashi #2 (to Gitin 90a): 'Do this Mitzvah, because on account of it, you will enter the Land.'

Rashi: And they only brought it in the second year in the Midbar, because Hashem explicitly commanded them to.

Seeing as the Mitzvah of Korban Pesach was only meant to apply in Eretz Yisrael, why did Hashem command them to bring it in the second year in the desert (See Bamidbar, beginning of Chapter 9)?

Ohr ha'Chayim: Because when Hashem confined the Pesach to their entry into Eretz Yisrael, He had in mind to bring them there immediately, and it was due to their sins (beginning already at the Yam-Suf) that they were still in the desert when the second Pesach came round. So He commanded them to bring the Pesach as originally planned.

What is the Torah referring to when it adds, "Ka'asher Diber"?

Rashi: It is referring to the Pasuk, "v'Heiveisi Eschem El ha'Aretz" (6:8).

Why is the Korban Pesach called an "Avodah"?

Gur Aryeh: Refer to 12:6:2.02:1. Also see 12:3:6.3:1**.

"V'Hayah Ki Savo'u El ha'Aretz." Whenever the Torah uses an expression of 'Bi'ah (coming to the Land) regarding a Mitzvah, the Mitzvah applies only after the seven years of conquest and seven years of distribution. Then why did Yehoshua bring the Korban Pesach immediately after entering Eretz Yisrael?

Moshav Zekenim and Riva: Personal obligations - not connected with the Land, applied immediately. It is only regarding Mitzvos connected with the Land that they began to apply only after fourteen years. 1

QUESTIONS ON RASHI

Rashi writes that Yisrael were not obligated to bring the Korban Pesach in the desert. If so, why did he state (Rashi to Bamidbar 9:1) that it was disgraceful that they offered Pesach only once during the forty years in the desert?

Moshav Zekenim: The disgrace was the fact that their sins caused them to be remain in the desert for forty years, unable to bring the Korban Pesach.

Riva: In Bamidbar, Rashi wrote according to the opinion that extrapolates there 'Do this Mitzvah, in order to merit entering the Land!' - and they did not bring either the Pesach or the Temidim and Musafim in the desert because they were Nezufim (censured) due to the sin of the golden calf.
