"ve'es Shok ha'Yamin Titnu Terumah". Why does the Torah insert the words "Titnu" (which is unusual) and "Terumah" (which is superfluous?
Chulin, 132b: "Titnu" teaches us that the Zero'a Besheilah (the cooked foreleg) of a Nazir, and the Zero'a (Lechayayim and Keivah) of Chulin too, must be given to a Kohen. 1
See Torah Temimah note 132.
Why is the right calf of the Yisrael's Shelamim given to the Kohanim?
Seforno: It is akin to giving the king's servant a gift in honor of the king.
Seeing as the Chazeh and the Shok are both a gift to the Kohen, why are they mentioned separately - the Chazeh together with the Chalavim, the Shok independently?
Ramban: Refer to 10:15:1:1*.
