(Mishnah): If a person wishes to separate Terumah (1/50th=2%) and Terumas Maaser (1/100th=1%) at the same time, he should take 1 part of 33 1/3rd (i.e. 3%) and say, "One hundredth of what is here (i.e. 1% of the total) that is on this side should be Chulin. And the rest (of what I've taken i.e. 2%) should be Terumah for the whole mixture. And the 1/100th (of the total) that I said (originally) is Chulin that is on this side should be (part of the) Maaser and that (additional 9%) that is next to it should be the rest of the Maaser. That (1%) that I made (part of the) Maaser shall be Terumas Maaser for it and the rest shall be Challah and the Maaser Sheni shall be on its northern or southern side and should be redeemed onto the coins.
