FOOTNOTES:
==========
(1) According to Rava (25b), this Tana holds like Rebbi Yosi ha'Glili that the limbs were brought in the order of their importance, "Derech Iluyo." However, this Tana says that their order is based on their outward appearance of importance (i.e. size), and Rebbi Yosi ha'Glili bases their order on their inner appearance of importance (i.e. how fat the meat is).
(2) This is also the opinion of Ben Azai in the name of Rebbi Yehoshua in our Mishnah (25a).
(3) This is the right hindleg, in contrast to the Regel which is brought with the Ukatz (tail), which is the left hindleg.
(4) This is the left hindleg (see footnote 3).
(5) Everyone agrees that the Rosh v'Regel were brought up first, as learned from a Pasuk (25b).
(6) This is the Girsa in our Gemara. Some Rishonim put Ukatz v'Regel after Shtei Yadayim and not before (see TOSFOS YESHANIM).
