What is the meaning of "Neche Raglayim"?

1.

Rashi: His legs were broken.

2)

Why does it mention how Mefivoshes became lame?

1.

Rashi: The Navi tells how kingship ceased from Beis Sha'ul. Sha'ul and three sons died [in war], Ish Boshes was killed, and Yehonason's son became lame (so he could not be a shelter for Malchus Sha'ul). Radak (2) - no heir of the kingship remained. His only other sons were from his concubine Ritzpah!
