Why does it say here 700 chariots, and in Divrei ha'Yamim I, 19:18 it says 7,000 chariots?

Radak: Here it counts only the choice chariots. Divrei ha'Yamim teaches that there were 7,000 in all.

Malbim: Above (8:4) I explained. (Every chariot had 10 horses. Here it counts the number of chariots. Divrei ha'Yamim counts the number of horses in the chariots.)

Why does it say here 40,000 horsemen, and in Divrei ha'Yamim I, 19:18 it says 40,000 [foot] soldiers?

1. Radak, Malbim: Here it mentions only the horsemen, and there, only the foot soldiers.
