What is the meaning of "v'Sar El Mishmatecha"?

1.

Rashi: This is like "va'Yasuru Elav" (19:3). He is close to your service and hearing your words. Should I have understood that he is not doing your Shelichus?!

2.

Radak: He obeys all your commands. This is like "u'Vnei Amon Mishmatam" (Yeshayah 11:14).

Why did he give all of these descriptions of David?

1.

Malbim: There are four reasons to suspect that someone would rebel. None of them apply to David! (a) He is a traitor by nature - David is trustworthy! (b) His actions show that he rebels against his master - David is v'Sar El Mishmatecha! (c) He is from a family that rebels against the king - David is your son-in-law! (d) The king lowers him and reduces his honor 1 , so he rebels to get honor - David is honored in your house!

Malbim (18:13) said that Sha'ul demoted David, that he will not be so close to the king, and after being the head general, is now general only over 1000! Perhaps Achimelech did not know this. (PF)
