1)

Why does the Torah insert the (otherwise superfluous) word "Kol ha'Eidah"?

1.

Rashi: Because all of the previous generation on whom Hashem had decreed had died, and the Pasuk is now referring to the next generation, about whom the Torah writes - in Va'eschanan Devarim, 4:4 - "Chayim Kulchem ha'Yom".

2)

Why was the mountain on which Aharon died called "Hor ha'Har"?

1.

Rashi: Because it was a small mountain atop a large one, like a small apple on top of a large one.

3)

Why did the Cloud that went in front of Yisrael to flatten all the mountains not flatten Hor ha'Har?

1.

Rashi: The Cloud flattened all the mountains in its path except for three - Har Sinai (for the Torah); Har N'vo (for the burial of Moshe, and Hor ha'Har (for the burial of Aharon).
