What is the comparison of our souls to a bird?

1.

Rashi: It escaped them, like a bird that escaped a trap.

2.

Radak: A bird in a trap can escape it only via breaking it. The same applies to us among the Goyim; they will perish with Hashem's help, and we will be saved.

3.

Malbim (6): Their desire to trap us into denial [of fundamentals of Torah] resembles putting food in front of a bird to catch it in a trap. Our Nefesh escaped and did not enter the trap, and we stood in (passed) the test. Via this, the trap was broken - the enemies were destroyed and we escaped.
