What is the meaning of "Ocheles Adam At"?

1.

Rashi: This land is wont to destroy its residents ? the Emori'im were eradicated from it, and also the Jews!

2.

Malbim: Those who dwell in you at the time of Galus (when few dwell there), the land consumes them via plague, illness and hunger.

2)

Why does it say "Lachem" (plural) and "At" (singular)?

1.

Radak: "Lachem" addresses the mountains, and "At" addresses the land.

3)

Why is "At" written with a Yud at the end?

1.

Radak: It is extra, like a Yud added for the feminine, e.g. "Ne'uraichi" "Tachalu'aichi" (Tehilim 103:5 3). It is pronounced properly.

4)

Why is it called "Meshakeles"?

1.

Malbim: When Yisrael dwelled in you, you expelled them. They were exiled twice from the land ? this makes a Chazakah!
