Malbim: Even though her father has use for her, to establish his seed, he was not Chas 1 on her. No one else had Chemlah on her, that she not be destroyed.
Malbim: Chas [is concern for something] because he has a need for it. Chomel wants the matter to persist due to itself; it is good in his eyes.
Why does it say "Achas me'Eleh"?
Radak: They did not do even one of these for you.
What is "Lechumlah"?
Rashi: It is to have mercy on.
Why does it say "El Pnei"?
Radak: This is like Al Pnei. There are many verses like this.
Why does it say "va'Tushlechi El Pnei ha'Sadeh? b'Yom Huledes Osach"?
Rashi (9, citing Targum Yonasan): Pharaoh decreed to throw your male [babies] to the river, to destroy you while you were in Egypt.
Malbim: Immediately, on the day of birth, you were cast out amidst repulsion.
Malbim (according to the Nimshal): You were cast from your land to the field of Egypt, and there they made you work all harsh labors in the field.
What is "b'Go'el"?
Rashi: It is repulsion. Radak ? the blood of birth is repulsive.
What is "Nafshech"?
Radak: It is your body. This is like "Barzel Ba'ah Nafsho" (Tehilim 105:18).
