What is the meaning of "[Geva Malon] Lanu"?

1.

Rashi: It is an expression of Linah (lodging). Radak - when he crossed the Yarden, he came to lodge in Geva (a city in Binyamin).

2.

Malbim: He lodged in Geva, which is on a peak. Then his coming was known to all residents of the land, close and far. Due to this, Anshei Charmah feared, and Giv'as Sha'ul fled.

3)

What is the meaning of "Chardah Charmah"?

1.

Radak: When Anshei Charmah saw that he came to lodge in Geva, they feared.

4)

Is Geva the same as Giv'as Sha'ul?

1.

Radak: No. Geva and Giv'ah are two cities in Binyamin, like it says in Sefer Yehoshua. Perhaps Giv'as Sha'ul is Giv'as Binyamin mentioned in Shmuel I, 13:2; it was called Giv'as Sha'ul, for he was king and from Binyamin. Or, perhaps he built there his palace to dwell - "v'Sha'ul Alah El Beiso Giv'as Sha'ul" (Shmuel I, 15:34). Alternatively, Giv'as Sha'ul is not Giv'as Binyamin; Sha'ul built it, and it was called on his name.

5)

Why does it say "Nasah"?

1.

Rashi: All fled due to his soldiers.
