What is the connection between Hashem's anger and Tzidkiyah's rebellion?

1.

Rashi (here and Melachim II, 24:20): Due to Hashem's anger, He put in Tzidkiyah's heart to rebel, which was the beginning of the Churban and the exile of Yehudah [Radak (Melachim II, 24:20) - and the rebellion gave Nebuchadnetzar a claim 1 to destroy everything].

1

Nebuchadnetzar 'needed' a claim, for he saw Sancheriv's colossal army wiped out when it prepared to conquer Yerushalayim. He was one of the few survivors (Sanhedrin 95b). (PF)

2)

Why was Hashem's anger on Yerushalayim?

1.

Radak (Melachim II, 24:20): The remnant there did evil deeds.
