Here it says that that Shlomo did not have Avadim from Bnei Yisrael. Above (5:27) it says that he had 30,000!

Malbim: They were not slaves; they only worked for him, to cut trees in Levanon. They worked one month, and were in their houses for two months. This is not slavery!

Why did Shlomo have "Anshei Milchamah"? He had Shalom!

Radak: He did have a few wars, when he took Chamas, Tzovah and Etziyon Gever and Eilos (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 8:3,17).
